P1 · HomeThe first mobile screen introduces the studio without a visible enquiry link.Visitors must search for the next step.Place “Describe your project” below the value proposition. Check visibility at 390 px and no horizontal overflow.
P1 · ContactThe form requires a full address and budget before an initial conversation.Too much effort for a first enquiry.Ask for contact details and a short project description; collect the brief later. Test submission, errors and confirmation.
P1 · ProjectsThree photographs have no material, project or context captions.Visitors cannot assess the work or suitable projects.Add the need, solution, material and an authorised image for each real project. Do not invent references.
P2 · ServicesBookcases and fitted furniture share a generic description.Specific customer questions remain unanswered.Create distinct sections with configurations, scope and an enquiry link.
P2 · MobileThe menu covers content after a link is selected.Navigation may interrupt reading.Close the menu after selection; test keyboard access, focus and return to content.
P3 · ImagesProject imagery has no size variants.Potentially heavier mobile loading.Export appropriate image sizes and check dimensions and formats. Measure before/after on the same page under comparable conditions.

Implementation plan

Week 1 · Remove obstacles

Owner: developer. Simplify contact, surface the enquiry button and fix the menu. Deliverable: three tested journeys, screenshots and a change log.

Week 2 · Strengthen evidence

Owners: business owner + copywriter. Collect facts for three real projects, write captions and clarify the services. Business approval before publication.

Method: manual review of five pages, enquiry-journey tests and targeted checks. These findings are constructed for this demonstration: no real Lighthouse measurements, client visit or conversion uplift is claimed. A commissioned audit separates observed facts, hypotheses and testing limitations. This report describes a fictional initial version before fixes; the Atelier Alba website illustrates the redesigned version.
